Chibi-News J-Pop: Yuzu-TOWA, Ikimonogakari - Love to Peace, ELT, Nishino Kana...

 FR :

Et puis ce titre me permet de revenir sur celui d'un autre grand nom de la J-pop, Mr Children, puisqu'on retrouve un clip centré sur un enfant dans un monde post-apocalyptique, comme dans Ashioto-Be strong 「足音 〜 Be Strong」 sorti il y a environ 1 an ! ;-)

ENG:

After a very busy period, I make a briefing of the some big new releases up to the end of October 2015.

This is, as often, a mid-tempo ballad, with here a kind of nursery rhyme, and as usual vocal quality is here.

The jazz-pop band fusion Gesu no kiwami otome. comes back with a double  single: Otona-tic (オトナチック) / Mukuna kisetsu (無垢な季節). Regarding music, I prefer the 1st one, which features keyboard and bass solos as catchy as usual, and the title of which seems to be a wordplay with "adult" (in Japanese) and "automatic" (in English) ^^. The 2nd one has the originality of being a fully animated MV.

There you'll find the last-to-date single of the pop duet Every Little Thing : Kira Kira, a light and quite classical ballad. They just started the tour of their 20-year career (the 1st single was released in 1996) !!

As I mentioned it on my Google+ page, my favourite band, Ikimonogakari (いきものがかり), is about to release its new single Love to Peace! (ラブとピース!), on November the 3rd. The MV is rather funny, the pop-rock music very entertaining with a small groovy background, as they keep exploring the brass instruments since Newtral album

I conclude (nearly) this post on the last-to-date single from the duet Yuzu : Towa ("forever"). A very moving and powerful song, where the usual classical guitar fades in front of the melody background and of the 2 remarkable voices of the band. The title will also be the same for the upcoming album (January 2016) and the associated tour.
(See the YouTube video above).
In fact this song allows me to write a word about another great J-pop band, Mr Children, as the MV is also centered on a child in a post-apocalyptic world, like in Ashioto-Be strong 「足音 〜 Be Strong」 released nearly 1 year earlier ! ;-)

PS : I take the opportunity to inform you of the very good career in Download and Karaoke of the song of Ieiri Leo : Kimi ga kureta natsu It was used as theme song for the drama "Koinaka - Best friends in love" broadcast on Fuji TV this summer. It's well deserved for the young singer and guitarist, who has a powerful and bright voice, and fascinating eyes as you can guess from her scene surname... ;-)
