Chibi-News Newcomers J-pop : Anly - Taiyou ni warae (太陽に笑え), Ohara Sakurako - Kimi wo wasurenai yo, Nishiuchi Mariya - Save me (Fr/Eng)

Après mon post sur quelques stars de la J-pop en automne, voici ma sélection des jeunes talents sortis en même temps.

After my post about some J-pop stars in Autumn, here is my selection of newcomers released at the same time.

Tout d'abord, Ôhara Sakurako (大原櫻子) et Nishiuchi Mariya présentaient toutes les deux leur 4e single.

Découverte en 2013 avec le film Kanojo wa uso wo aishisugiru 『カノジョは嘘を愛しすぎてる』, The Liar and his lover à l'international, dans lequel Ôhara Sakurako jouait une chanteuse de groupe J-pop, Mush & Co, elle a enchaîné avec une carrière solo très attendue en tant que "gitâ jo", fille guitariste, sur les traces de Yui, miwa... Ses 1eres compositions étaient toutefois un peu génériques, c'est surtout depuis mi-2015 qu'elle est arrivée à maturité, décrochant au passage une participation au Kôhaku uta gassen, l'émission phare du Réveillon du Nouvel An. La preuve avec ce 4e single, qui s'accompagne de 2 clips assez différents l'un de l'autre :

- la face B est Dear My Dream, titre pop-rock bien rythmé qui encourage à suivre ses rêves... Il a d'ailleurs été utilisé par une chaîne de télé pour couvrir le relai-marathon féminin sous le patronage de l'Impératrice.

- le titre principal, Kimi wo wasurenai yo 「キミを忘れないよ」, "je ne t'oublie pas", qui est la chanson thème du dernier film animé en date de la très populaire Chibi Maruko-chan (dont je vous ai présenté le générique culte plus tôt), Italia kara kita shônen 『イタリアから来た少年』 ,"Le garçon venu d'Italie". Dans ce titre, au contraire, il s'agit là de sa première ballade douce-amère où la chanteuse se remémore d'une voix vibrante, à la fois poignante (à cause de la séparation) et lumineuse (grâce à ses souvenirs heureux), son 1er amour.

At first, Oohara Sakurako (大原櫻子) and Nishiuchi Mariya both showed their 4th single.
Discovered in 2013 through the movie Kanojo wa uso wo aishisugiru 『カノジョは嘘を愛しすぎてる』, The Liar and his lover abroad, in which Oohara Sakurako was playing a J-pop band singer, Mush & Co, she started a very awaited solo career as a "gita-jo", guitar girl, following the path of Yui, miwa... Her first tunes had however a little lack of originality, she mainly matured from half 2015 on, being granted a participation to the Kouhaku uta gassen, the main event of New Years Eve. The proof with this 4th single which features 2 different tracks:
- the B face is Dear My Dream, pop-rock track well rythmed which encourages to follow one's dreams... It was, by the way, chosen by a TV channel to cover the female relay-marathon under the Empress patronage.
- the main title, Kimi wo wasurenai yo 「キミを忘れないよ」, "I don't forget you", which is the theme song of the last-to-date animated movie of the very popular Chibi Maruko-chan (of which I talked about sooner), Italia kara kita shônen 『イタリアから来た少年』, "The boy who came from Italy". In this hit, on the contrary, it's her first bittersweet ballad where the singer remembers with a vibrant voice, both poignant (due to the separation) and bright (thanks to happy memories), her first love.
 

Nishiuchi Mariya (西内まりや) a débuté comme jeune modèle pour le magazine Seventeen et s'est rapidement fait remarqué dans le monde de la musique, son but initial, en raflant plusieurs prix en 2014 avec le titre assez rock Love Evolution. Elle a su confirmer début 2015 grâce au magnifique Arigatô Forever... 「ありがとうForever...」qui avait atteint le Top 10 de l'+ORICON STYLE hebdomadaire, et à ses talents musicaux (piano, guitare...). Son 4e single, Save me, reste dans la lignée de son précédent succès : une ballade mid-tempo entre peine et force de caractère, inspirée par la thématique d'Angel Heart, une suite alternative de Nicky Larson (City Hunter), puisqu'il s'agit du générique de la version drama.

Nishiuchi Mariya (西内まりや) started as a young model for the Seveteen magazine and got quickly noticed in the music world, her initial goal, by winning several prices in 2014 with the quick rock track Love Evolution. She managed to confirm in the beginning of 2015 thank to the wonderful Arigatô Forever... 「ありがとうForever...」 which reached the Top 10 of the weekly Oricon ranking and to her musical skills (piano, guitar...). Her 4th single, Save me, stays on the path of her preceding success : a mid-tempo ballad between sadness and strength of mind, inspired by the theme of Angel Heart, an alternative sequel of City Hunter, as it is the tie-up of the drama version.

 

Enfin, je conclue avec une "vraie débutante", Anly, dont le 1er single en indé n'est sorti qu'en août 2015, chez mini muff records : Bye-Bye accompagné de 3 autres titres (dont une reprise de la jeune Britannique Gabrielle Aplin: Please Don't Say You Love Me, c'est important pour la suite) ! Anly n'a alors que 18 ans et chante près d'une plage de son Okinawa natale. Née en 1997 sur une petite île de l'archipel, elle se concentre très tôt sur la guitare et baigne dans le rock n' roll, le blues et la folk que son père collectionne. Au lycée, elle commence des lives au piano mais c'est grâce à la venue de miwa dans le cadre de sa tournée acoustique "Acoguissimo" en 2014, dont elle fait la première partie, qu'elle se fait remarquer des petits labels. 

Mais le titre qui nous intéresse ici est son 1er en Major (Sony), Taiyou ni warae (太陽に笑え), sorti en novembre, avec 2 autres titres. Sur la 2e piste, on trouve Don’t give it up! en duo avec... Gabrielle Aplin ! Taiyô ni Warae, "Souris au Soleil", a été utilisé en chanson thème du drama Siren Keiji × kanojo × kanzen akujo 『サイレーン 刑事×彼女×完全悪女』, qu'on pourrait traduire par "Sirène : inspecteur x fiancée x femme vraiment fatale". Le titre est du pop-rock très énergique ; si vous appréciez Yui ou Abe Mao, foncez !

Finally, I conclude with a "true beginner", Anly, whose 1st indies single was released only in August 2015, under mini muff records : Bye-Bye featuring 3 other titles (including a cover of the young British Gabrielle Aplin: Please Don't Say You Love Me, it's important for the following) ! Anly is then only 18 years old and sing near a beach of her birthplace Okinawa. Born in 1997 on a small island of the archipel, she concentrates herself on guitar very early and grows in a rock n' roll, blues and folk ambience due to her father's tastes. In highschool, she started to do live with piano but it's thank to the concert of miwa during her tour "Acoguissimo" in 2014, that she got noticed by small labels, because she participated in the first part.

But the tune which interests us now is her 1st in Major (Sony), Taiyou ni warae (太陽に笑え), released in November, with 2 other tracks. On the 2nd track, we find Don’t give it up! in duet with... Gabrielle Aplin ! Taiyô ni Warae, "Smile to the Sun", was used a theme song of the drama Siren Keiji × kanojo × kanzen akujo 『サイレーン 刑事×彼女×完全悪女』, which could be translated as "Siren : inspector x girlfriend x truly fatal woman". The song is a very energetic pop-rock ; if you appreciate Yui or Abe Mao, go !
