Je vous en avais parlé il y a presque un an au début de ce site-blog, le retour d'une des 2-3 grandes prétendantes au titre de Reine de la J-Pop, Utada Hikaru (宇多田ヒカル) se précise de plus en plus !! Ce printemps, ce n'est pas moins de 2 clips qu'elle nous a offert (bien qu'elle n'apparaisse pas encore dedans), chacune des chansons servant de générique à des émissions télé.
I talked about it nearly 1 year ago at the begining of this website-blog, the comeback of one of the 2-3 great challengers to the throne of Queen of J-Pop, Utada Hikaru (宇多田ヒカル) comes closer and closer !! This spring, she offered us not less than 2 Music Videos (although she doesn't appear yet in them), each of the song being tied-up with a TV show.

La première est 「花束を君に」(Hanataba wo Kimi ni, "Un bouquet de fleurs pour toi"), une ballade dont le clip est entièrement animé par l'artiste Tsuji Keiko (辻 恵子) dont "Hikki" donne le lien sur sa page YouTube, sous la direction de Ôgawa Junko (小川純子).
Elle sert de générique au drama de la NHK "Toto Nee-chan" (とと姉ちゃん, "ma grande sœur Toto"). Le vidéo clip est par ici.
The 1st one is 「花束を君に」(Hanataba wo Kimi ni, "A flowers bouquet for you"), a ballad whose MV is entirely animated by the artist Tsuji Keiko (辻 恵子), the website of whom "Hikki" gives credit on her YouTube channel, under the direction of Ôgawa Junko (小川純子).

La 2e est 「真夏の通り雨」 (Manatsu no Tooriame, "Averse d'été") qui sert d'ending au journal de 23h de la chaîne Y-TV, 「NEWS ZERO」. Et là j'ai presque envie de dire "attention chef d'œuvre" ! Cette ballade (encore) est juste la digne héritière des grands hits précédents de la chanteuse dans ce genre, que sont Sakura Drops ou Flavour Of Life par exemple, même s'il faut attendre un peu pour que la mélodie vous emporte vraiment (sans oublier le final). Et c'est en l'occurrence un titre qui vous renverra en douceur à la nostalgie des souvenirs d'enfance ou aux longues journées alanguissantes d'été...
Le clip, qui a une belle photographie typée 8mm, a été réalisé par Tsuge Yasuhito (柘植泰人) dont vous pouvez retrouver d'autres travaux sur son site (également crédité sur la chaîne YouTube).

This ballad (again) is just the worthy successor of some big hits of the singer in that genre, such as Sakura Drops ou Flavour Of Life for instance, even if you have to wait a little before the melody really moves you (without mentioning the final). And this is by the way a tune which will send you back to the nostalgia of childhood memories or to the endless summer days...
The PV, which has a nice 8mm-typed photo, was realized by Tsuge Yasuhito (柘植泰人) of whom you can find other works on on his website (as well credited on the YouTube channel).
