Chibi-News Anison : Takigawa Alisa x Owarimonogatari - Sayonara no yukue, Aoi Eir x Arslan - Lapis-lazuli, Kalafina x Arslan - One Light (Fr/Eng)

Petit retour en arrière pour introduire une jolie sortie Anison de novembre 2015. La version animée des Chroniques d'Arslân (Arslan Senki) a débuté l'année dernière au printemps 2015, sous la direction artistique de l'auteure du très apprécié Full Metal Alchemist. Si Arslân n'atteint pas encore le niveau de son prédécesseur pour moi, il brille au moins par ses deux 1ers génériques de fin, à savoir Lapis-lazuli d'Aoi Eir (sorti en avril 2015), et One light de Kalafina, sorti en août (et que j'ai eu le plaisir de voir en concert à Osaka ce mois-ci :-p).

Small flashback in order to introduce a nice Anison release in November 2015. The anime version of  The heroic Legend of Arslan (Arslan Senki) started last spring 2015, under the artistic direction of the successful Full Metal Alchemist female author. If Arslan doesn't yet reach the level of its predecessor to my opinion, it has  at least brilliant endings, to say Lapis-lazuli by Aoi Eir (released in April 2015), and One light by Kalafina, released in August (and whom I was happy to see in concert in Osaka this month :-p).

Lapis-lazuli 「ラピスラズリ」 est le 10e single d'Aoi Eir (藍井エイル), révélée au grand public par la série animée Fate/Zero et qui avait attiré plusieurs milliers de personnes à Japan Expo à Paris l'année dernière !

Il s'agit d'un morceau pop-rock mid-tempo, où la voix puissante et grave de la chanteuse fait passer un souffle épique qui retranscrit bien l'esprit de la série. On peut le trouver dans l'album D'Azur (oui, "Aoi" étant un homonyme du mot japonais pour "Bleu", elle aime bien jouer là-dessus ^^).

Lapis-lazuli 「ラピスラズリ」 is the 10th single of Aoi Eir (藍井エイル), revealed to an extended public by anime series Fate/Zero and who had attracted several thousands people in Paris at Japan Expo last year !
The song is a mid-tempo pop-rock tune where the powerful and low voice of the singer produces an epic atmosphere which translates well the spirit of the anime. It can be found in the album  D'Azur (yes, as "Aoi" is an homonyous to the Japanese word for "Blue", she loves playing with that ^^).

Chibi-News Newcomers J-pop : Anly - Taiyou ni warae (太陽に笑え), Ohara Sakurako - Kimi wo wasurenai yo, Nishiuchi Mariya - Save me (Fr/Eng)

Après mon post sur quelques stars de la J-pop en automne, voici ma sélection des jeunes talents sortis en même temps.

After my post about some J-pop stars in Autumn, here is my selection of newcomers released at the same time.

Tout d'abord, Ôhara Sakurako (大原櫻子) et Nishiuchi Mariya présentaient toutes les deux leur 4e single.

Découverte en 2013 avec le film Kanojo wa uso wo aishisugiru 『カノジョは嘘を愛しすぎてる』, The Liar and his lover à l'international, dans lequel Ôhara Sakurako jouait une chanteuse de groupe J-pop, Mush & Co, elle a enchaîné avec une carrière solo très attendue en tant que "gitâ jo", fille guitariste, sur les traces de Yui, miwa... Ses 1eres compositions étaient toutefois un peu génériques, c'est surtout depuis mi-2015 qu'elle est arrivée à maturité, décrochant au passage une participation au Kôhaku uta gassen, l'émission phare du Réveillon du Nouvel An. La preuve avec ce 4e single, qui s'accompagne de 2 clips assez différents l'un de l'autre :

- la face B est Dear My Dream, titre pop-rock bien rythmé qui encourage à suivre ses rêves... Il a d'ailleurs été utilisé par une chaîne de télé pour couvrir le relai-marathon féminin sous le patronage de l'Impératrice.

- le titre principal, Kimi wo wasurenai yo 「キミを忘れないよ」, "je ne t'oublie pas", qui est la chanson thème du dernier film animé en date de la très populaire Chibi Maruko-chan (dont je vous ai présenté le générique culte plus tôt), Italia kara kita shônen 『イタリアから来た少年』 ,"Le garçon venu d'Italie". Dans ce titre, au contraire, il s'agit là de sa première ballade douce-amère où la chanteuse se remémore d'une voix vibrante, à la fois poignante (à cause de la séparation) et lumineuse (grâce à ses souvenirs heureux), son 1er amour.

At first, Oohara Sakurako (大原櫻子) and Nishiuchi Mariya both showed their 4th single.
Discovered in 2013 through the movie Kanojo wa uso wo aishisugiru 『カノジョは嘘を愛しすぎてる』, The Liar and his lover abroad, in which Oohara Sakurako was playing a J-pop band singer, Mush & Co, she started a very awaited solo career as a "gita-jo", guitar girl, following the path of Yui, miwa... Her first tunes had however a little lack of originality, she mainly matured from half 2015 on, being granted a participation to the Kouhaku uta gassen, the main event of New Years Eve. The proof with this 4th single which features 2 different tracks:
- the B face is Dear My Dream, pop-rock track well rythmed which encourages to follow one's dreams... It was, by the way, chosen by a TV channel to cover the female relay-marathon under the Empress patronage.
- the main title, Kimi wo wasurenai yo 「キミを忘れないよ」, "I don't forget you", which is the theme song of the last-to-date animated movie of the very popular Chibi Maruko-chan (of which I talked about sooner), Italia kara kita shônen 『イタリアから来た少年』, "The boy who came from Italy". In this hit, on the contrary, it's her first bittersweet ballad where the singer remembers with a vibrant voice, both poignant (due to the separation) and bright (thanks to happy memories), her first love.
 

Mirai Yosouzu 2 - 未来予想図 II (Eng)

As I'm writing it in January 2016, year of the monkey (saru), I wish you an happy new year... and I apologize for not having posted more J-Music standards articles during these first months of existence. I should have more time this year, and as a good resolution, here is this one, I wish I had released sooner...

Last 6th of May 2015, we celebrated the 50 years old of Miwa, singer of band Dreams Come True whose we celebrated too the 25 years of  career between 2014 and 2015, and thus I'm going to introduce to you one of their numerous standards, precisely their very 1st hit, Mirai Yosouzu 2 (未来予想図 II). However nothing was predestining this title to such a notoriety, apart from this puzzling "2", as no other identical title had been released before !

Chibi-News J-Pop : My Little Lover - Terminal, Perfume - Star Train, Nakashima Mika - Hanataba (Fr/Eng)

Avec encore un peu de retard, voici une sélection de 3 titres J-pop de gros artistes sortis cet automne.

With still some delay, here is a selection of 3 J-pop tracks from big artists released this Autumn.

 

Tout d'abord Nakashima Mika (中島 美嘉) a sorti le single Hanataba 『花束』en octobre 2015, "le bouquet de fleur", qui est un tie-up du drama Otona joshi 『オトナ女子』, "la demoiselle adulte". Mika, qui est aussi connue pour avoir interprété la chanteuse rock Nana dans le drama éponyme,  a une voix assez particulière avec un vibrato très ample et une grande amplitude de gamme qu'elle met merveilleusement à profit dans cette ballade douce-amère qui alterne décors colorés et forêt grise inquiétante.
Then Nakashima Mika (中島 美嘉) who released the single Hanataba 『花束』 in October 2015, "the flower bouquet", which is a tie-up from the drama Otona joshi 『オトナ女子』, "the mature lady". Mika, whose voice is quite particular with a wide vibrato and a large vocal range that she wonderfully uses in this bittersweet ballad which alternates colorful scenes  and uneasing grey forest.

Mirai Yosôzu 2 - 未来予想図 II (Fr)

En ce mois de janvier 2016, année du singe (saru), je vous présente mes meilleurs vœux... ainsi que mes excuses pour ne pas avoir pu poster davantage d'articles sur les classiques de la J-Music durant ces 1ers mois d'existence. Je devrais avoir plus de temps cette année, et en guise de bonne résolution, voici enfin celui-ci, que j'espérais sortir plus tôt...

Ce 6 mai 2015, on a fêté les 50 ans de Miwa, la chanteuse du groupe Dreams Come True dont on a fêté également les 25 ans de carrière entre 2014 et 2015, et donc je vais vous présenter un de leurs nombreux titres classiques, en l'occurrence leur tout 1er succès, Mirai Yosôzu 2 (未来予想図 II). Pourtant rien ne prédestinait ce titre à une telle notoriété, en-dehors peut-être de ce "2" intrigant puisqu'aucun titre identique n'était sorti auparavant !
