Voyons quelques classements J-Music 2019 issus des charts Oricon. C'est à voir en complément des classements de singles en téléchargement et le Hot100 de Billboard, ainsi que de mes articles sur le 70e Kôhaku, l'émission musicale de la NHK qui résume aussi à sa manière l'année écoulée.
2019 fut marquée par plusieurs coups de tonnerre, à commencer par l'annonce de la prochaine retraite d'Arashi. Un scandale chez les NGT48, groupe soeur des AKB48 casse davantage encore la dynamique de celles-ci au profit des groupes 46, et de Twice (qui a déjà évincé les E-girls du Kôhaku). Même le monde zen et romantique de l'enka-kayôkyoku, dont le "Prince" Hikawa Kiyoshi commençait aussi à fêter ses 20 ans de carrière, ne fut pas épargné, avec l'éviction d'un membre du groupe Junretsu pour violences conjugales !

2019 was struck by several blasting news, starting with the announcement by Arashi of their coming retirement. A scandal in the NGT48, a sister band of AKB48, additionally broke the momentum of the main band with regards to the 46 bands, and Twice (who already ejected E-girls from the Kouhaku). Even the zen and romantic world of enka-kayoukyoku, whose "Prince" Hikawa Kiyoshi was starting celebrating his 20 years of career, was not spared, with the eviction of a member of Junretsu for domestic violences!

Le Top annuel des singles de l'Oricon est, de part la nature du décompte (vente physiques) et la nature du marché (collectionnite et/ou bons pour voter pour ses Idols préférées...), très largement trusté par les groupes d'Idols féminines (quasi-exclusivement de l'agence AKS) et masculines (de chez Johnny's).
Sur ce site, nous allons donc plutôt regarder les principaux chiffres de ventes, pour prendre la température du marché de la musique japonaise en 2019, puis nous nous intéresserons aux classements Albums et Enka, plus représentatifs.
The yearly Singles Charts of the Oricon are, due to the inner nature of the accounting (physical sales) and of the market (collection-addicts and / or voting vouchers for one's favorite Idols...), largely trusted by female Idols bands (mostly from AKS agency) and male ones (from Johnny's).
One this site, we will rather check the main sales data, to see how is the Japanese music market in 2019, then we will see the Albums and Enka rankings, more representative.

- Ventes de singles / Singles sales:
Le tiercé gagnant est constitué, comme l'année précédente par les Idols AKB48, qui placent Sustainable (1 400 000 unités) et Jiwaru Days (1 300 000) aux deux 1ères places, et les Nogizaka46 avec Sing Out! (1 200 000). C'est cependant davantage encore un cache-misère pour les AKB face à leurs "rivales officielles" puisqu'il s'agit de leurs 2 seuls singles de l'année, une première dans leur histoire. De plus, elles ont perdu en visibilité avec l'arrêt de plusieurs émissions et, stupeur, l'annulation de leur traditionnelle élection générale dont Jiwaru Days, qui aurait dû contenir les bons de vote, a fait les frais ! Cela traduit sans doute les problèmes de réorganisation du management après un nouveau scandale suivant l'agression d'une membre du groupe soeur NGT48 mais aussi une perte de vitesse constante par rapport aux groupes 46 ou encore TWICE. D'ailleurs il faut saluer la belle performance du tout jeune groupe Hinatazaka46 qui place 3 singles de la 8e à la 10e position !
Côté Idols masculines, Arashi rétablit la hiérarchie chez les Johnny's, après l'annonce début 2019 de sa prochaine retraite, avec BRAVE en 7e place, mais est battu par la K-Pop de BTS (6e).
Encore une fois 1er et seul artiste non-Idol du top 25, Yonezu Kenshi, surfant sur la Lemon-mania et sa 1e prestation en direct à la TV lors du Kôhaku, atteint une incroyable 11e place avec Uma to Shika.
The winning podium is made of, like the previous year, the Idols AKB48, who place Sustainable (1 400 000 units) and Jiwaru Days (1 300 000) at the first two places, and the Nogizaka46 with Sing Out! (1 200 000). However it is even more a token win for the AKB against their "official rivals" as they only released these 2 singles this year, a first low in history. Moreover they lost visibility with the end of several broadcast and, stupor, the cancellation of their usual general election. It had bad consequences on Jiwaru Days which was supposed to contain the voting vouchers! This comes probably from the management reorganization problems, following the aggression of a member from the sister band NGT48, but also from a constant loss of momentum with regards to the 46 bands or TWICE. Speaking of it, let's congratulate the nice performance of the brand new band Hinatazaka46 who places 3 singles between the 8th and the 10th positions!
On the male Idols side, Arashi restores the hierarchy among the Johnny's, after their announcement in early 2019 of their coming retirement, with BRAVE in 7th place, but they are beaten by BTS's K-Pop (6th).
Once again 1st and lone non-Idol artist in the top 25, Yonezu Kenshi, surfing on the Lemon-mania and his 1st ever TV live performance during the Kouhaku, reaches an amazing 11th place with Uma to Shika.

Comme on le verra dans le classement détaillé plus bas, les Idols sont moins hégémoniques mais restent bien présentes dans le haut du classement : Arashi et leur Best of en forme d'adieu dépassent les 2 millions d'unités, ce qui leur vaudra le prix Global Album de l'IFPI, tandis que leurs héritiers spirituels King & Prince dépassent de peu les Nogizaka46 à des niveaux de vente plus habituels (550 000 contre 510 000).

As we will see in the detailed ranking below, the Idols are less hegemonic but stay well in the top of the chart: Arashi and their Best of as a farewell counts over 2 millions units, which garnted them a Global Album award from IFPI, while their spiritual heirs King & Prince shortly outrun the Nogizaka46 at some more usual sale levels (550 000 vs 510 000).

En dehors des quatre 1ers dont j'ai parlé en introduction, on note une énorme présence du groupe K-Pop incluant 2 Japonaises, TWICE (5 albums classés !). Tandis qu'en dehors des Nogizaka46, c'est le désert chez les Idols d'Akimoto ! Les Johnny's, eux, se répartissent dans tout le classement.
Apart of the first 4 I told about in intro, one notes an enormous presence of the K-Pop band including 2 Japanese, TWICE (5 albums ranked!). While excepting Nogizaka46, it's a desert among the Idols of Akimoto! Johnny's are equally present in the whole chart.
Le groupe Official Higedandism (J-Pop poprock) qui a percé cette année-là classe très bien son album sorti seulement en octobre. Aimyon apparaît aussi dans le top 20 après son 1er Kôhaku en 2018. Pour King Gnu, autre révélation 2019 plus J-Rock, il faudra sans doute attendre l'effet de leur invitation au Kôhaku 2019 et la sortie d'un album en janvier 2020 pour les voir dans ce classement.
Ils suivent un quatuor J-Rock et poprock expérimenté entre la 11e et la 7e place, qui voisinent avec la prestigieuse BO du film Bohemian Rhapsody.
The band Official Higedandism (J-Pop poprock) who gained fame on that year get a very good rank for their album released only in October. Aimyon appears too in the top 20 after her 1st Kouhaku in 2018. For King Gnu, other revelation 2019 more J-Rock, they will probably have to wait for the effect of their invitation to the Kouhaku 2019 and the release of an album in January 2020 to see them in this ranking.
They follow an experimented J-Rock and poprock quartet between the 11th and the 7th places, in the vicinity of the prestigious OST of the Bohemian Rhapsody movie.
2 "comebacks" : Yazawa Eikichi et Takeuchi Maria. Le premier, rockeur à l'ancienne qui a inspiré rien moins qu'Onizuka Eikichi dans l'anime GTO, bénéficia de la couverture médiatique d'une... imitatrice à la voix inimitable, Ringo-chan (りんごちゃん) pour son nouvel album original depuis longtemps. Takeuchi Maria profite du revival de son titre pop Love plastic l'année précédente pour lancer sa compilation fêtant ses 40 ans de carrière.
2 "comebacks": Yazawa Eikichi and Takeuchi Maria. This 1st one, old-style rocker who inspired not less than Onizuka Eikichi in the anime GTO, got helped by the media coverage of a... female imitator with an inimitable voice, Ringo-chan (りんごちゃん) for his 1st original album for long. Takeuchi Maria gets advantage of the revival of her pop song Love plastic last year to launch her compilation celebrating her 40 years of career.
Côté anison, on notera surtout la nouvelle excellente BO par Radwimps, toujours pour un film d'animation de Shinkai Makoto, Tenki no ko. Moins médiatique mais presqu'aussi bien classé, mafumafu est un chanteur-compositeur, notamment pour le duo After the Rain, qui a récemment travaillé sur Pokémon, Détective Conan et To the abandoned sacred beasts.
On the anison side, the main point is the once again excellent OST by Radwimps, still for a Shinkai Makoto animation movie, Weathering with you. Less known but nearly as well ranked, mafumafu is a singer-songwriter, in particular for the duo After the Rain, who recently worked on Pokémon, Detective Conan and To the abandoned sacred beasts.
HypnosisMic, les rappeurs Ikemen "2.5D" lancés l'année dernière, confirment leur vague, avec même un premier concert live et plusieurs units classées (15e, 32e, 38e) ! Il semblerait qu'ils surfent essentiellement sur l'intérêt grandissant des jeunes Japonaises pour les belles voix des seiyuu masculins dans les animes (je devrais peut-être tenter ma chance :p...), mais font néanmoins appel à des pros du milieu à la compo.
Un peu dans le même genre, mais d'apparence plus jeune ou kawaii, Sutopuri aka Strawberry Prince classe leur 1er album 25e ! Plus anciens, Urashima Sakata Sen surfent aussi sur la vague ^^

Ce classement est fourni par la chaîne spécialisée Kayô Pops, qui extrait les titres plus traditionnels Enka et Kayôkyoku du fin fond des données de l'Oricon 😅 (je me moque, mais le 1er de ce classement est tout de même 49e au Top singles Oricon).
Ce classement permet de compendre les invitations au fameux Kôhaku de la NHK, et de savoir ce qui passe chez les Japonais plus âgés ou plus romantiques.

This ranking permits to understand the invitations to the famous NHK's Kouhaku, and to know what is in the air among the elder or more romantic Japanese people.
